2025 St. Joseph High School Basketball Program
(Grade 7&8 Girls)
Coach Alex served as the Head Coach of the Grade 7&8 girls basketball team to provide them with the confidence and skills necessary to be successful, following multiple years of winless seasons for the team. With the additional support of amazing assistant coaches, the team achieved a 3-1 regular season record, and led the division with the most points scored. During the playoffs, they had decisive wins over their next 3 opponents, including the only team that had an undefeated season, and they ultimately won the gold medal. Coach Alex helped the girls to overcome the doubt and anxiety that was affecting their game and will proudly present them with their hard-earned championship banner - forever to be displayed in their school gym as a reminder of what they overcame and achieved.

Over forty players from across the city dug deep for 2 months of weekly intense training. They participated in this unique program of basketball conditioning, game IQ coaching, and 3x3 scrimmage time. Sessions also included Team Time Outs - short discussions of important topics relevant to the young athletes and their sport while they enjoyed an intentional snack to refuel after their workout and before the scrimmage. These awesome young athletes made the commitment to "Stay Ready" this offseason to best prepare themselves for their next basketball season.
